This movie is based on the biography of the renowned aviator, hollywood director and producer, billionaire, womanizer and hypochondriac Howard Robard Hughes. He is very much known for his flight around the world in 3 days and 19 hours. He was involved in getting contracts for war planes during World War II but none of the planes made it to the airforce. He is a biography on Howard Hughes. One of his favorite quote is Every man has his price, or a guy like me couldn't exist

Leonardo Di Caprio fits in the bill perfectly. Later in the movie he looks very much like Howard Hughes. Cate Blanchett plays Katherine Hepburn and Kate Beckinsale plays Ava Gardner. Gwen Stefani(No Doubt fame) plays to cameo too. The movie covers the life of Howard Hughes from the 1920s to the 1940s. It ends with his successful flight of the 'Spruce Goose' which is still the world's largest plane ever built.
